Small Groups & Studies

Men from 3 congregations within Wetaskiwin; Grace Lutheran, First United, Immanuel Anglican, are now meeting at 7 pm on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month (Sept - June typically).  First Bible Study is hosted by First United on the 1st Monday of the month and Grace Lutheran hosts the 3rd Monday.

Ladies Morning Out is a group of ladies that meet every Tuesday at the church at 9:30-12:00, we are a bible study based group with a strong emphasis on supporting each other in confidence and prayer. We have shared much laughter and tears together and consider this group to be a safe and welcoming place for women of all faiths to be part of.

We are offering a Stephen Ministry course at Grace.  Stephen Ministry is an effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.  There are a number of classes.  We eventually pair people to be caregivers to those who are struggling.  Through that process, we offer supervision and some more training.  Many have found it beneficial in helping others as well as learning more about themselves.
