Hilda Irene Dewald November 23, 1928 ~ October 9, 2023 (age 94) Hilda Irene Dewald entered her eternal rest on Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 9, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.  She was the second daughter of Alex and Lydia Woitt.  She grew up on her Mom and Dad’s farm 8 miles west of Wetaskiwin.  Her early years were typical of farm life at that time.  Her mornings started by bringing in wood for the stove.  In the summer she would be found in the vegetable garden picking peas or beans.  She attended school at Bigstone School where she made many lifelong friends.  She learned to play the piano and music would become a lifelong passion for her.  Her leisure time was spent…

Ruby Henriette Faille April 1, 1937 – September 28, 2023   On September 28, 2023 at 11:30 p.m., Ruby succumbed to her long battle with cancer. Ruby Faille was born to John and Pearl Berezon (predeceased) in Vegreville, Alberta, where she grew up and went to school. She had one brother, Bunny (Genie, predeceased) Berezon. In 1956 she was married in Vegreville, where she had 4 children; Jerome Bohaychuk, JoAnne Bohaychuk, John Bohaychuk, and Janice Nowochin. The family moved to Thompson, Manitoba in 1966 where her last child, Jackie Miller, was born. In 1974 her family grew with the addition of the first grandchild, Jenn Bohaychuk. She grew up with three sisters, Dorothy, Kay (Katherine) and Jean, and two brothers, Allen and Jack (John). Together they shared many adventures and a lot of love. School started on horseback to Lakeview School about a mile and a half away.
