Our Vacation Bible School takes place on July 20 - 23 from 9:00 - 12:00. Snowball Mountain Challenge invites kids to an exciting winter sports event where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. They will come to realize that with the strength God provides, they can share their gifts, be brave, pray, and hope. Challengers aren’t just playing games. Using their Challenge Companion (the Bible), they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories, while connecting the learnings to Bible Stories and Lift Lessons (Key Learnings). Inviting all youth to a Christmas Event! Please join us on Saturday, December 6th from 6:00 - 8:00. We will be having a Christmas themed escape room game, enjoying delicious s’mores, and making gingerbread houses.

The family annouces the passing of Nels Buskas on November 19, 2024 at the age of 99 years. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Roxann; children, Pat (Wade) Dimock, Arvid, Nancy (Richard) Payne, Karen (Danis) Lee, Julie (Arthur) Pittman; grandchildren, Daniel (Stacey), Steven (Amanda), Stewart, Darin, Sarah (Brodie), Lauren, Kendra, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Lilli, Luke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Nels was predeceased by his parents, Johannes and Melita; infant son, Arvid; brother, Gustav (Melita); sister, Emma (Ivan) Tennis.

December 1st:  After service, we will have a volunteer appreciation potluck.  Please bring a  food item.  We will be thanking all our volunteers. Part of our Contemporary Worship Band Marlene Thompson, Larry Coroluik, and Bert Horvey will be providing music to sing.  There will be a free will offering that will go to general funds of the church..  We will also be an opportunity to make Christmas cards to our members over 90 years of age. December 15th:  We will have an Intergenerational Christmas program.  We are looking for people to come forward and share their talents in song, skit, story, instrumental etc.  The Preschool will provide the luncheon afterwards.  Hopefully, the travlelling GIFT choir (Grace Lutheran, Immanuel Anglican, First United Together)  will make an appearance.
