Elsie Feldberg November 18, 1932 - January 18, 2024 On January 18, 2024 Freida “Elsie” Feldberg (nee Kurtz) passed away at the Wetaskiwin Hospital at the age of 91. Elsie is survived by her children, Brian (Cynthia) Feldberg and Colleen (Kevin) Wolter; her grandchildren, Peter (Ashley), Sabine (Harley), Jesse (Alicia) and Megan (Justin); great-grandchildren, Everett, Ellis, Ruari, June, Colter, Kohlin, Maliyah, Vivienne, Blaikley and Olivia; siblings, Hilda Karlo, Margaret Forth, Lily (Howard) Smith, Eleanor Pydde; sister-in-law, Irene Torgerson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond E. Woitt in Wetaskiwin on January 12, 2024 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his son, Jeff. Raymond will be sadly missed by his wife, Joan; son,  Ken (Pat); grandsons, Dan (Sam) and Mike (Bella) great grandchildren, Daxton, Peyton, Ellie and Bennett as well as many extended family members, good friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, (4218-56 Ave. Wetaskiwin. ) with burial to follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery beside Jeff. Ed Karlo Obituary Feb 23, 1922 to Dec 24, 2023 Ed has returned home for Christmas to be with his Lord and Saviour in the evening hours of December 24, 2023 at the age of 101. He leaves to mourn his wife of 79 years, Hilda, daughter Evelyn (Eric) Heilman, Grandchildren Raeleen (Brent) Metzker and Trent (Nicole) Heilman and great granddaughters Peyton, Kali, Shaylan and Taylor. Hilda Irene Dewald November 23, 1928 ~ October 9, 2023 (age 94) Hilda Irene Dewald entered her eternal rest on Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 9, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.  She was the second daughter of Alex and Lydia Woitt.  She grew up on her Mom and Dad’s farm 8 miles west of Wetaskiwin.  Her early years were typical of farm life at that time.  Her mornings started by bringing in wood for the stove.  In the summer she would be found in the vegetable garden picking peas or beans.  She attended school at Bigstone School where she made many lifelong friends.  She learned to play the piano and music would become a lifelong passion for her.  Her leisure time was spent…

Ruby Henriette Faille April 1, 1937 – September 28, 2023   On September 28, 2023 at 11:30 p.m., Ruby succumbed to her long battle with cancer. Ruby Faille was born to John and Pearl Berezon (predeceased) in Vegreville, Alberta, where she grew up and went to school. She had one brother, Bunny (Genie, predeceased) Berezon. In 1956 she was married in Vegreville, where she had 4 children; Jerome Bohaychuk, JoAnne Bohaychuk, John Bohaychuk, and Janice Nowochin. The family moved to Thompson, Manitoba in 1966 where her last child, Jackie Miller, was born. In 1974 her family grew with the addition of the first grandchild, Jenn Bohaychuk.
